Alexander Morrison and Eddie Broadfoot — two lifelong Rangers fans — were born and raised in Glasgow. Alex hailing from Possil Park and Eddie from Kinning Park, and together they shared strong love of family, football, and the odd pint ... and of course Rangers FC.

Their love of the game was instilled within their sons, Alex and Chris, from a young age, and both grew up as Rangers fans, playing the game from the moment they could walk. Both young men looked up to their dads as their football heroes and inspiration — both were given the love of the game and an honest sounding board for feedback, improvement and support to achieve what ever they wanted to achieve.

Now it's our turn — Gold Coast Rangers was founded to firstly honour our fathers and their passion for football and the Glasgow Rangers. Second, our mission is to provide a high standard environment for our sons to grow up within, for them find and share their own love for the game. It's a football environment to pass on our knowledge, to challenge them, and provide them a platform to support them achieve what they want to achieve in the game.​​
